exentra GmbH, an innovative software company for business intelligence software of the next generation, based in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, is seeking for a DevOp with focus on process improvement between software development and operational workflows and processes (m/f/d) (40 hours per week).

Your responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of DevOps processes and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) in the Java environment
• Development, automation and optimization of the CI/CD infrastructure and processes
• Ensuring smooth rollouts and updates
• Introduction of new tools for continuous deliveries
• Drafting of operational and deployment concepts
• Provision and maintenance of the network and server infrastructure, as well as hardware and software
• Documentation of procedures and security guidelines
• Ensuring agile collaboration between developers and operations in day-to-day practice
• Telephone customer support and internal team support
• Data backup and data security (according to GDPR/DSGVO)

Your profile:

• Completed degree in computer science, completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist or outstanding career changer
• Ideally, first professional experience as a DevOps engineer
• Experience in agile software development
• Experience with the concepts of Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration as well as with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Git and Maven
• Experience with cloud infrastructures and cloud technologies
• Willingness to familiarize oneself with new technologies as well as the independent further development of one’s own knowledge
• Passion for automation and infrastructure development
• Basic understanding of IT security concepts
• Organizational talent
• Resilience and reliability
• Good language skills in German and English
• Very good communication skills
